WW2 US Army 10th Mountain Division 2nd Lieutenant Class A Jacket

This is an original World War II-era US Army Class A uniform jacket belonging to a 2nd Lieutenant of the 10th Mountain Division. The jacket retains its original 10th Mountain Division shoulder patch, crossed rifle infantry insignia, and 2nd Lieutenant rank insignia on the epaulets. It features a full set of brass buttons and a ribbon bar showcasing campaign awards.

The jacket was custom-tailored by the Russell-Tamm Uniform Co., as noted on the interior label, with the additional Quartermaster Corps tag indicating military specifications and government procurement. The label inside also mentions “Expressly Made For” followed by a handwritten name, further personalizing the garment.

The pit-to-pit measurement of the jacket is approximately 19 inches, indicating a snug but functional fit for the time. The condition shows minor signs of wear consistent with its age but is overall intact with no significant damage.
