  • Main Text: “Nachdem Sie bisher durch gewissenhafte Erfüllung Ihrer Amtspflichten und durch Ihr Verhalten in und außer dem Amt das bei der Begründung Ihres Beamtenverhältnisses in Sie gesetzte Vertrauen gerechtfertigt haben, erhalten Sie in der Erwartung, dass Sie auch fernerhin dem Führer und dem Reich die Treue halten werden, mit dieser Urkunde gemäß § 28 des Deutschen Beamtengesetzes die Eigenschaft als Beamter auf Lebenszeit.”

    Translation:
    “After you have previously justified the trust placed in you through the conscientious fulfillment of your official duties and by your conduct in and outside of the office, you are hereby appointed for life, with the expectation that you will continue to remain loyal to the Führer and the Reich. This appointment is made in accordance with Section 28 of the German Civil Service Act.”
