WW2 Japanese IJA/IJN Veterans Association Badge

(IJA/IJN) VETERANS ASSOCIATION BADGE.

A small, shield shaped badge featuring a fouled anchor atop a pair of crossed swords with a raised, large five pointed star. To the reverse is a simple hinge pin with a rotating locking catch assembly near the base. Kanji is visible to the pin. The badge measures approximately 2cm x 3cm. These were given, in many minor variations, to veterans of the wars in China, Korea, and Manchuria, as well as those against the allied nations
