The ribbon bar above the left pocket consists of the Army Good Conduct Medal, suggesting that this soldier maintained an exemplary record of service. The jacket's interior lining remains in excellent condition with the original 1951 dated size tag intact. The garment retains all buttons, including the button-down epaulettes. This style of jacket, officially designated the M-1950 Field Jacket, continued the Ike jacket tradition from WWII but was tailored for service in the Korean theater during the early Cold War.
