A nice original piece of WW1 US history.
The rough Pit to Pit measurements of this jacket is 16 1/2 inches.
As pictured, the right 2 pocket buttons are not present. There is a fait stamp mark on the interior that reads “Philadelphia” The numbers under are tough to read as is.
The 80th Id During WW1
- Activated: September 1917
- Overseas: June 1918
- Major operations: Battle of the Somme (1918), Meuse-Argonne, Battle of Saint-Mihiel.
- Casualties: Total-6,029. (KIA-880; WIA-5,149).
