This is an original Bronze Star Medal certificate set awarded to Sergeant First Class (SFC) Ralph K. Barnard, U.S. Army, for meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces during the Vietnam War. The certificate is dated October 9, 1968, and is presented in its original green presentation folder.

Included with the certificate are the General Orders Number 846, issued by the Department of the Army, Headquarters, 1st Signal Brigade (USASTRATCOM), dated October 12, 1968. These orders formally document Barnard’s exceptional service from March 28, 1967, to October 9, 1968, during combat operations in the Republic of Vietnam. The set features official signatures from Brigadier General W. T. Van Harlingen and Colonel William G. Skinner, Jr., along with the detailed distribution list of the orders.
