This is an original WWI Imperial German Kaiser’s Diplomatic Corps Tunic. The tunic is decorated in gold bulliondbrocade in a floral pattern, the bullion is tarnished. It has several old repairs to the material and there are two splits in the material at the seams of the back and under one of the arms. It can be repaired, but I have left it as I found it. No size tag, but it measures 18 inches shoulder to shoulder, 20 inches armpit to armpit, 24 inches shoulder to cuff and is 39 inches in total length. It is rough, but still displays great. Very rare tunic!
